On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, S.E.A.T.S Inc. took part in the “Tochigi Food Export Business Meeting (Cambodia)” as a representative buyer from Cambodia. The event was held at the Tochigi Industry Interaction Center in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture.
Jointly organized by the Tochigi Prefectural Government and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO Tochigi), the business meeting aimed to promote the export of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products—as well as processed foods—from Tochigi to Cambodia. As a local distributor of Japanese food in Cambodia, our company was honored to be invited as a key buyer to engage in direct B2B discussions with participating producers and suppliers from the region.
S.E.A.T.S Inc. operates within Cambodia through both B2B and B2C channels, supplying restaurants, hotels, and retailers while also running an e-commerce platform for individual consumers. While our strength lies in frozen seafood and meat products, we have been expanding our portfolio to include fresh produce, seasonings, and other high-quality Japanese goods to meet evolving market needs.
At the meeting, we had the opportunity to exchange insights directly with producers of story-rich sake and traditional processed foods from Tochigi. These discussions deepened our understanding of each product’s value proposition as well as the logistical considerations related to distribution in Cambodia. It was a meaningful first step toward developing long-term business relationships.
We will continue to actively participate in such trade events and work to introduce more exceptional Japanese products to Cambodian consumers, fulfilling our role as a reliable local partner in the region.
